The DA has ID'd the victim as 18-year-old Lawrence resident Juan Espinal

The “Boston Free Speech Rally” rally on the Boston common has been reluctantly approved by the city, but there will be strict rules on how it is carried out on Saturday.

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Authorities say the victim was found near the intersection of Forest and Crescent streets at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Lawrence resident Juan Espinal. A memorial at the scene of the murder grew Wednesday morning.

Family and friends tell us Espinal was a humble kid who went to school and worked a couple of jobs.

The Essex district attorney says no suspects are in custody.

One neighbor reported hearing seven or eight gunshots.
