A suspicious death investigation in Nashua, New Hampshire, has been ruled a homicide, officials announced Saturday.
Authorities had initially released limited information as they announced they were investigating a man's suspicious death inside an Amherst Street house. Later, the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office said an autopsy had been completed on the man who was shot.

The autopsy for 57-year-old Joseph Bisson determined he died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen and head, and the manner of death was homicide, the AG said.
There was no immediate word on a possible suspect or any arrests, but the attorney general said investigators believe they have identified everyone involved and there is no threat to the general public.

Anyone with information about this incident, including Bisson's whereabouts and activities prior to his death, is asked to call the Nashua Police Department at 603-589-1665.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
