A police investigation was underway Friday morning into a reported stabbing in Medford, Massachusetts.
Law enforcement officers from the Medford Police Department and Tufts Police were seen on Capen Street early Friday.

A news release from the Medford Police Department said police responded to the scene around 3:45 a.m., and due to the nature of the incident, additional details could not be released.
Law enforcement noted, though, that the situation was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the public.
