Southboro Police are looking for a man accused of exposing himself to a student.

A sketch has been released of a man whom a female student in Southboro, Massachusetts, said exposed himself to her last week.

The female victim, a student at Algonquin Regional High School, told police last week that she was followed by a stranger in a vehicle after getting off the school bus Wednesday near Deerfoot and Flagg roads, the Southboro Police Department said.

The man eventually asked for directions and then exposed himself, according to police.

The girl was able to get away and tell a parent, according to police. They then notified police of the alleged incident.

"I saw her. She was shaken up and upset, but very smart, obviously. Saw what was going on and ran. In fact, I think she called police even before she saw her mother," neighbor Maura Walsh said.

Police released a sketch of the suspect after having the victim sit down with a sketch artist. They describe the suspect as being white with black hair, scruffy facial hair and black, thick-rimmed glasses.

Police also released surveillance video of a dark-colored 2010-2014 Subaru Outback they believe the man was driving. The video was taken from a nearby home surveillance camera.

Residents in the area say they are all very close to one another and the incident is very alarming.

"As a neighborhood, we are all kind of watching out for each other. I've been driving kids home from school because of it. A lot of kids are scared to take the bus home," neighbor Leah Ammon said. "So yah. We're just a little bit more aware of what's going on."

Anyone with information on the identity of the man is urged to contact Southboro police at 508-485-2121.
