Man Critically Injured in Shooting Outside Wonderland MBTA Station in Revere

A person was hospitalized after a shooting near the Wonderland MBTA station.

A man was shot Friday afternoon in Revere, Massachusetts.

The shooting happened just before 5:30 p.m. on North Shore Road, according to police. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Police said the shooting, near the Wonderland MBTA station, impacted service.

Good Samaritans could be seen leaning into the victim's car moments after he was shot.

At Wonderland Convenience, near the scene of the shooting, Anik Rahman heard the gunshots and ran outside.

Rahman says witnesses were trying to help the man keep from losing too much blood before first responders arrived.

Investigators spent hours gathering evidence from the vehicle. Bullet holes could be seen in the passenger side window of the white Infiniti with a Maryland license plate.

The shooting happened in the middle of the evening rush near Revere Beach.

Police have not said what the motive for the crime may have been or if any arrests have been made.

State police are looking for any witnesses who may have seen the shooting or any altercation between vehicles leading up to the crime.
