Power was disrupted in areas of Malden, Massachusetts, due to a car crash early Saturday morning, one of several in the Bay State as wintry weather arrived in the region.
Malden police said there were several poles down on the Malden and Melrose line. People were asked to avoid the area.

Earlier Saturday, parts of northern Billerica were without power due to a car striking a utility pole near 120 Boston Rd.
In Hanover, there was a rollover crash shortly after midnight on the 300 block of Hanover Street and Route 139. One person was transported with non-life threatening injuries. The rollover took out a utility pole.

Authorities say National Grid was called to the scene at all three crashes.
