Some areas in New England had received several inches of snow by Sunday night from a storm expected to dump eight inches or more on parts of the region by Monday morning.
The snow accumulation reports were sprinkling in, with no big surprises, NBC10 Boston meteorologist Sydney Welch reports.

Most of us will get in on accumulations by morning, she said, as the slush/rain gives way to snow in southern New England.
