A 26-year-old Lawrence man died after getting into a serious rollover crash Monday morning in Methuen, Massachusetts.
Raul Arias was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty shortly before 6 a.m. on Route 213 westbound before I-93 when he hit a guardrail on the left side of the road and rolled over, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Arias was the only person in the car at the time of the crash and no other cars are believed to have ben involved. First responders found him suffering from serious injuries when they arrived on scene. He succumbed to his injuries while at the scene, state police said.

Lane closures were in place until approximately 7:45 a.m. The crash remains under investigation. State Police were assisted on scene by Methuen Police, Methuen Fire & EMS, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and MassDOT.
