A five-vehicle crash involving two trucks closed part of Interstate 93 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, into the evening rush Friday.
The incident took place at Exit 25, where northbound traffic was detoured for several hours, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The highway fully reopened about 6 p.m.

Massachusetts State Police said there were unspecified injuries after the crash, which involved three cars and two box trucks — one of the latter ended up on its side across the highway from where the crash took place. It wasn't immediately clear how many people were hurt or how badly they were hurt.

Drivers had been urged to expect delays, with lane closures extending into rush hour.
Images from the scene showed a box truck on its side, with an apparent fuel leak, and another box truck damaged. There were also cars with apparently minor damage on the side of the road.
