State police said shortly before 11 p.m. that the children, ages 8, 9 and 11, had been safely located.

Stoughton police say Vazquez's vehicle was tracked to Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood using geolocation technology. The children were found safe around 10:30 p.m.

The Canton Police Department was the first to announce the children had been found safe.

Police did not immediately give word on whether Vazquez was in custody.

Stoughton police said the oldest child is 10, not 11, as state police said.

"Vazquez is believed to have taken her 10-year-old son, 9-year-old daughter and 8-year-old daughter from their home earlier Friday with their packed belongings," Stoughton police said in a statement earlier. "Police believe the children may be in danger."

NBC10 Boston witnessed an active police investigation at a Stoughton address associated with Vazquez.
