A reported abduction attempt of a child at a park in Stoughton, Massachusetts, on Saturday was a misunderstanding, police said.

The incident reportedly took place at Halloran Park Saturday evening, according to Stoughton police.

But they said in an update Sunday afternoon that they had determined the situation was just a misunderstanding.
