After a soggy start to the day, we had a beautiful afternoon with temperatures in the low 70s in some places, even in Boston thanks to the downsloping wind and sunshine.
Tonight we keep the forecast clear and cool with lows in the 30s north, and low 40s south. The south, southwest breeze on Thursday will keep temperatures in the 60s again under full sun.
Friday we will start to cloud up a little by the afternoon as a shortwave heads in. This wave of low pressure will bring scattered showers through Friday night into early Saturday.
Saturday afternoon and evening seems to be just fine with dry weather and temperatures in the 50s. Sunday will bring more 50s and rain which could be heavy at times. The system will go through as possibly a cold front in the middle of the day, so if you have outdoor plans make sure to have a backup.
Next week we stay in the 50s for most of the week with repeated waves of rain.
Our Jetstream pattern seems to split, which means more waves of low pressure heading through every 24-36 hours.

We still have a chance for rain on Halloween with cool temperatures overnight in the upper 30s. Kids may need a coat over their costume for trick-or-treating!
