There could be a big problem for those headed to beaches in Gloucester, Massachusetts on Saturday.
A glitch in the online parking reservation system back in May caused the city to oversell about 300 parking spaces.

The online parking reservation system for the city's beaches began this year with the goal of clearing the long lines of beachgoers who may arrive only to be turned away.
Beachgoers descended on the city's parking areas as early as 5 a.m. on Saturday to get ahead of the crowds and ensure they got a spot.

"I think they need to work a little bit on the parking situation so people buy the tickets and get to where they want to be," said one beachgoer.
The city will offer satellite parking at the O'Malley Innovation Middle School to offset the overbooking. Shuttle buses will be provided from the school every 45 minutes.
The city is also offering refunds to those who booked a space on Saturday. Gloucester Mayor Greg Verga said that the system is now back in working order. Refunds haven't been issued yet, the mayor said; requests will be compiled and addressed in batches.
