A crossing guard accused of assaulting a mom outside of a high school in Taunton, Massachusetts, Monday morning was arrested for a second time on the same day after he allegedly attacked news photographers as he left court.
Louis Chaves, 68, was back in court Tuesday for the second time in less than 24 hours after he was caught on camera swatting at one photographer's camera and then kicking toward another.

An attorney for Chaves told the judge that there were no injuries to the photographers and no damage to their cameras.
“He is 68 years old. He has no prior criminal history before yesterday," the attorney said in court.

The on-camera confrontation came as Chaves was leaving court for his first arraignment that was tied to the physical confrontation outside of Taunton High School.
Prosecutors say in that case Chaves and a woman got intro an argument after she stopped in the middle of an intersection to get a tissue.
According to officials, Chaves allegedly stuck his stop sign stick inside the woman's car and swung it around, hitting her daughter.
When the woman got out of her car to confront Chaves, he allegedly threw her to the ground, dragging and kicking her. The woman was left with multiple injuries, prosecutors said.
Taunton Public Schools said Monday Chaves was fired, effective immediately, and is no longer an employee of the district.
Chaves posted bail Tuesday, and he's due back in court in August.
