An elderly woman died and two men were hospitalized following a two-alarm fire in Worcester, Massachusetts, Monday morning.
An off-duty Worcester firefighter was on his way to work shortly before 7 a.m. when he spotted the fire on Green Farm Road, officials said.
A bedroom was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on the scene.
The woman, who has not been identified, later died at a local hospital. The men have minor injuries, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
