Prosecutors say a man who was taken into custody after a stabbing that injured two women in Dedham, Massachusetts, has died.
The incident happened at a home on Jackson Pond Road. Police responded around 6 p.m. to find two female victims with stab wounds. Both were taken to local hospitals.

The man was found outside and appeared to be in distress, prosecutors said. Police used a stun gun and pepper spray to take him into custody.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

All three people involved are family members, according to authorities.
"This is obviously a terrible tragedy," Morrissey said at a press conference. "This time of year's always difficult, these things, especially in Norfolk County, events often happen where people know each other, and it's just very difficult. So our heart goes out to the family."
