The truck was sent straight into the home after it collided with a canteen food truck. There were about 12 to 15 people were inside of the home, Everett police said, and were evacuated.

Both drivers were treated.

A man who lives in the home told NBC10 Boston he left his bedroom just two minutes before the truck barreled in.

"I heard the tires skidding, the brakes going off, stuff like that," Henry Maldonado said. "And then it hit the house. Once it did that, I felt the whole vibration, like an earthquake."

Footage from the scene showed the food truck heavily damaged.

"I asked him if he wants me to help him put the food back in the truck. He said, 'I don't want you to help me do nothing right now,'" said James Massone, a witness. "The food was all over — I have pictures. It was actually over the fence, too. All over the place."

There was major structural damage to the home, especially to the foundation, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
