Two people are dead after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 93 in Methuen, Massachusetts, early Monday morning.
Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a crash on I-93 southbound around 2:10 a.m. and found three vehicles were involved in the wreck.

State police say a preliminary investigation shows a Toyota RAV4, driven by 53-year-old Fan Jin Mo, from Quincy, was traveling in the wrong direction when it struck a Toyota Camry head-on, killing the 21-year-old driver, Levi Munoz Lopez, also of Quincy.
The RAV4 then came into contact with a third vehicle, but that driver was not hurt, police say. The RAV4 driver was taken to a local hospital where they died from their injuries.

All three lanes of I-93 were closed for approximately three hours after the crash.
Police haven't said why the Rav4 driver was traveling on the wrong side of the highway.
An investigation into what happened is ongoing.
