Another woman who was found shot at the scene was also taken to a nearby hospital and treated for less serious injuries, police said.

Footage of the scene showed police consoling the family members of the shooting victims on the sidewalk.

A young man who lives nearby told NBC10 Boston he heard a number of gunshots before hearing a car drive away.

Police did not provide any information on a possible suspect or motive for the shooting.
