Marcus Smart emerged victorious in his first game against his former team, a 127-121 Memphis win. The ex-Celtics guard had only three points on 1-of-11 shooting, but he'll still have the bragging rights over his former teammates until their next matchup.
Ja Morant had a game-high 32 points to propel the Grizzlies to victory. Jaren Jackson Jr. had 27, including 14 in the fourth quarter.
Jrue Holiday led the C's with 23 points. Jaylen Brown and Payton Pritchard added 22 apiece.
