It wasn't pretty, but the Boston Celtics pulled off a 108-96 NBA Cup victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
The win gives the C's a 2-1 record in the NBA Cup with a +14 point differential, putting them in second place behind the 2-0 Atlanta Hawks in the East Group C standings. Their fourth and final group play matchup will come next Friday against the Bulls in Chicago.
Boston will return to action Sunday when it hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tip-off for that game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston.
