Which teams are March Madness bound? Tracking automatic bids to the NCAA Tournaments

The first NCAA Tournament automatic bids in 2024 came from the Ohio Valley conference.

Some college basketball teams will have to wait until Selection Sunday to find out whether or not they're going dancing.

But others will know in advance.

That's because the winner of each conference tournament championship automatically qualifies for the NCAA Tournament. The first automatic bids in 2024 were awarded in the Ohio Valley conference, with UT Martin's women's team and Morehead State's men's team punching tickets to March Madness.

Several teams have since joined them, and more automatic bids were earned in the days leading up to the bracket reveals on Selection Sunday.

So, which men's and women's squads are March Madness bound? Here's a look with the brackets now official:

How many March Madness automatic bids are there?

There are 32 automatic bids in both the men's and women's tournaments. The rest of the fields are filled out by at-large bids.
