It all started in New York, where the Jets' prized acquisition Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles in his season debut.

In Week 9, the New York Giants lost starter Daniel Jones for the season with a torn ACL. Deshaun Watson was then ruled out for the season due to a broken bone in his throwing shoulder, then Joe Burrow was lost for the rest of the year and finally Justin Herbert was sent to season-ending IR with a finger fracture. Week 18 will feature additional starters watching from the sidelines.
