@Issue: New restrictive shelter regulations taking effect

Under the Healey Administration’s new emergency shelter policies migrants and homeless families living in state-operated overflow shelters will be limited to just five days.  It also makes any family who chooses to stay at one of these overflow shelters after Aug. 1 — ineligible for the emergency housing waitlist for six months. Two critics of those changes, State Rep. Erika Uyterhoeven of Somerville and State Rep. Marcus Vaughn of Wrentham, joined NBC10 Boston’s Cory Smith on @Issue to talk about the changes.
