Officer Killed in Capitol Incident Is Native of North Adams, Mass.

Officer William ‘Billy’ Evans, who spent 18 years on the U.S. Capitol Police force, was killed in an attack Friday. Rep. Richard Neal said Evans is a native of western Massachusetts, while one of Evans’ longtime friends says he grew up in North Adams and had two young children.
