Trooper Michael Proctor to have duty status hearing

The fate of Massachusetts State Police trooper Michael Proctor, lead investigator in the Karen Read murder case, remains up in the air Monday morning. He now faces a duty status hearing for his handling in the case. Monday’s hearing comes a week to the day a judge ruled a mistrial in the case.
