A former day care worker accused of taking thousands of naked photos of young children was potentially set to be released Friday, but will stay in custody after a judge said more time was needed to make a decision.

Prosecutors have asked the judge to not release Lindsay Groves until they’re able to obtain a transcript of the July hearing and file their appeal.
