Highs today reach the mid-30s south, 20s north with a light westerly breeze. 

A very strong area of high pressure will provide the region with another dry and chilly afternoon as it slowly slides to the east of New England.

By late Sunday, clouds will start to roll in, bringing a slight chance of light sprinkles or flurries, mainly in Central Massachusetts and interior New England early Monday morning.

Chilly and dry weather sticks around through Sunday, with high pressure keeping skies mostly clear across New England.

Cold temperatures continue, but we’re expecting a bit of a warmup next week.

Another very cold night ahead with a mostly clear sky, light wind, and a dry area of high pressure overhead allowing for some ‘text book’ radiational cooling to occur.

Great night to sneak a look at the Geminid Meteor Shower which peaked Friday night, but a bright and  Full ‘Cold’ Moon will likely squelch the viewing somewhat drowning out some of its more faint shooting stars.

Temperatures remain near freezing or below throughout the weekend before a bit of a warmup early next week.
